Vietnam

Part 2

Qui Nhon

As I continued my walk through Qui Nhon, I could see more businesses.

Occasionally, there were other American soldiers, but not as many as you would expect.

This building was a target.  I think that it was the police station, but I am not sure.

There was collateral damage.

Another nice building.  Notice the "Styles Tailors - For ladies and gents."  On the second story is a clothes line with underware.  I wonder if they were hung by a guest or the hotel laundery.

That looks like the entrance to a fancy compound.  It is directly across the street from the hotel.

A delivery truck that looks American.

Barbed wire and constantina fence are sometimes found even in the city.

On the southern part of the city is Red Beach.  They are all American soldiers.

There is the parking lot.  I wonder who owns the sailboat.  In the background is Vung Chua Mountain and the long winding road to the summit.

The changing room.

Partly under construction.  Vung Chua Mountain in the backgroud.

Anybody for volley ball in a combat zone?
